Rescue
|
Occasionally,
through no fault of their own, a few Beaucerons will end up in Rescue.
The ABC is committed to making sure these dogs find appropriate,
permanent and loving homes.
If you are interested in being considered as an adoptive home for a Beauceron, please fill out our Adoption Application.
We are also occasionally in need of Foster Homes for rescued
Beaucerons. Please contact the Rescue Committee for additional
information.

Alex (left) and Easau (right)
Easau is a 3 year old French Import neutered male Beauceron. Alex is an
8 year old spayed mixed breed. Tragically they are in need of a
new home due to the death of one of their owners and the illness of the
other. They are currently being cared for by a family friend in
the Southern US. It was the original owner's request, and our
desire to re-home these dogs together.
Both dogs are friendly with people and affectionate. They are
tolerating cats well. Alex is dominant with dogs other than Easau
and is showing some prey drive toward pet birds. We are looking for a
home with no other dogs. Easau, like any young Beauceron, will
need room to exercise and a "job'' to occupy his mind. Both are
calm in the house with adequate exercise.
Both are up-to-date on shots. Both will require some training and
re-inforcement of earlier training. Alex is currently on thyroid
medication.
If you are interested in adopting Easau and Alex, please fill out an Adoption Application, and let us know!
